I have commissioned French made Jeanneau yachts for the last 3 years. Sizes ranging from 20ft to 54ft.
The basic process is as follows;
- Supervise the lift from truck to the yard, checking for damage
- Prepare the waterline and beneath by abrading, priming and antifouling
- Install hull and shaft anodes
- Launch the boat and complete system checks
- Build the mast ( I have good knowledge of Seldon and Sparcraft rigs )
- Crane the rig onto the boat, tune the standing rigging
- Fit running rigging and sails
- Take the boat on sea trials
- Fit any optional extras to the client spec
I am a mobile commissioner. I can commission yachts in any boatyard around the country or to a wider extent boatyards and marinas around Europe.
